You can now do 90% of your image editing workflow in Adobe Lightroom which also  organizes and helps to secure your images to be more easily found when you need  them. If your editing requires the 10% tools in Photoshop, then learning the 5 basic tools  of Photoshop, just the essential of Photoshop will get you through a full editing workflow.
